BRONLE CROSBY PAINTINGS
I paint transitions in nature. Call it breathing room – places for the eyes and the mind to take a rest.
My work is about spaces in between, transitions: the last scattered drops of rain as the storm passes over; the nighttime dew on the web before the sun has dried it; the egg shell left behind after the bird has flown. I hope my paintings invoke for the viewer memories of those tiny, miraculous details, and the light and sounds and smells of them.
